Types of Psychotherapy and Therapeutic Coaching

Therapy

(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
CBT

How it can help you

If you feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, or low mood, CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected—so you can begin to change them.

What it is

CBT is a structured, evidence-based therapy that gives you practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and build healthier ways of responding in everyday life.

Best for

CBT is widely used for anxiety, panic, OCD, phobias, generalised anxiety, and low mood, helping you regain a sense of control and stability.

Concentric Water Ripples

(Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing)
EMDR

How it can help you

If past experiences still affect how you feel, think, or respond today, EMDR helps you process those memories so they feel less overwhelming and no longer hold you back.

What it is

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that uses bilateral stimulation to support your brain in safely reprocessing difficult experiences.

Best for

EMDR is highly effective for trauma, distressing memories, and emotional responses that feel stuck or unresolved.

Life coaching

ADHD Coaching
(Executive Functioning)

How it can help you

If you struggle with focus, organisation, or following through on tasks, ADHD coaching helps you build practical strategies that actually work for your brain.

What it is

A structured, supportive approach focused on executive functioning skills, helping you create routines, improve focus, and manage daily life more effectively.

Best for

Ideal for adults with ADHD who feel overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of procrastination, or frustrated by systems that don’t work for them.

  Meet Anna! Founder of Antilepsis!

Welcome to Antilepsis! I am so excited you are here and I am looking forward to meeting you! Few words about myself and what I do..

Experience and Professional Background

I am an accredited CBT therapist with many years of experience supporting people with anxiety, low mood, trauma, and emotional difficulties. My work is grounded in evidence-based CBT, trauma-focused therapy, research into habit change, and a compassionate understanding of what it takes to begin the process of change.

A Personal Understanding of Therapy

I offer a safe, confidential space where clients can feel heard, supported, and understood. Having experienced therapy myself, I recognise the courage it takes to ask for help and the importance of working with someone who is both skilled and compassionate.

Bridging Therapy and Coaching

My experience in the NHS and private practice has helped me bridge the space between therapy and coaching. I tailor support to each client’s needs, whether they are looking to process trauma, manage anxiety or low mood, build practical strategies, or move towards personal growth.

At Antilepsis, therapy is approached as a whole-person process that supports self-awareness, resilience, and more authentic connection with yourself and others.
